Today’s Daily Post photo challenge was to take a picture of a street. I spent the day at the Cenacle Center in Houston and as I wandered the property looking for an idea I came across a Labyrinth. Are you familiar?
Some information from the internet:
Historically, a labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. To walk the labyrinth is to make a pilgrimage, to discover something about ourselves and God. The destination is not important; the journey is! So…what a fun street /road/journey to photo today. And you know I walked it…and I will again tomorrow. I used it to pray today…feeling a little silly while walking in a circle but compelled to follow it through.
What journey are you today? What road do you need to travel? I’d love to hear from you!
