Happy Birthday Mom

Happy birthday to my fabulous mom!

1970-00 Mom and dad

One of my favorite lessons from my mom is to keep your sense of humor…because really…in a hundred years will it really matter?

Motherhood is full of opportunities to look for the humor…

Your sweet baby throws up ALL OVER you

Boy, dog, dog toys

Kids and dogs are running through the house with muddy feet

Bathtime to clean the muddy feet

Boy, cat and a pair of scissors – lots of hair cutting

Kids and dogs with sharpies

Kids, dogs and trampolines – saving the dog

Boys, ketchup and firecrackers – need I say more?

Boys setting their nipples on fire and posting to social media (yes, oy, yes)

Social media – really, TBH, that alone, keeps us hopping

Driving permits, cringing, biting tongue

Searching a room for contraband and come across a box of plastic swords (WTH?)

Of course, at the moment, you might not laugh, you might even want to cry, but I cannot imagine a life without children and I cannot imagine making it through this life without laughter and humor.

So mom…thank you, thank you for teaching me to laugh and not take things too seriously…
I Love You!
