I am an adult facilitator for a small group of 11th and 12th girls at COTHA and this past Sunday at church we discussed sharing the Gospel with others…and the challenge for them from me was to be able to share how the Gospel had transformed their lives.
Issuing the challenge to them gave me the opportunity to ponder the transformation in my own life. I’ll never be able to prolifically spout out scripture and when the conversation turns to theology I start thinking about other things (like my jeep) but if you want to talk about how I was and how I am now…I’m all over it.
So what does that have to do with Live Out Loud?
Well let me tell you…
Today I am free…for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
My life is full…The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
The way I live represents the Gospel…In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
So every day I have is a gift…I have been transformed and my life is lived out loud to share with others the amazing grace available to all!
