Is there anything better than a warm, dry bed at the end of a long day? I think not.
Our vacation is wrapped up. We spent the day driving to New Hampshire, riding a train, hiking to a remote waterfall, seeking shelter (came here without a plan), eating dinner at a quaint New England restaurant and now…now my head is seeking the pillow.
But first a bit of reflection…
Feeling grateful for a great time of rest, relaxation, and reconnection with good friends. Feeling a little anxious about reality re-entry. I guess those are the marks of a good vacation. I do feel rested with my head on straight. While I’m not looking forward to jumping back in to reality…it’s a fact of life…can’t hide away forever. It was a time to rest and now it’s a time to get back to work.
But not alone.
